Nico Phillips is a Nashville based performer, composer and arranger that understands the multi-faceted world of music, all the way from the concert hall to the studio.
As a trained composer and arranger from Belmont University, Nico has had opportunities writing in a variety of styles and genres from jazz to classical and Bach again; he's also written for a wide array of ensembles from string quintet to big band and even orchestra. He has also had opportunities writing for different types of media such as short films and dance recitals and is able to enhance the viewer’s experience through compelling harmonic and melodic development.
Not only is Nico an experienced composer and arranger, he is also a multi-instrumentalist and has had opportunities playing violin from Indiana all the way to Rome and Salzburg. Also, as a professionally trained guitarist, he has played guitar for different bands from his own punk band "A-Okay" to contemporary Christian events such as Junior High Journey and is also no stranger to the studio. Nico can handle his own in any musical situation.
